Our Story & Mission

Twirl into Tomorrow is a community nonprofit organization founded by Addison Dema-Ala and Cosima Ho, two NYC high school students.

As passionate dancers themselves, Addison and Cosima have always loved the thrill of performance, the community of a dance studio, and the pure joy of putting on a beautiful costume. They know firsthand that dance costumes not just fabric but instead a tool that builds confidence, brings a character to life, and makes a dancer feel truly special.

However, they also recognized that the high cost of dance apparel can often be a heavy burden for families, sometimes keeping talented children from participating in the art form they love.

Spreading the Joy of Dance Across NYC

Driven by their shared love for dance and a desire to bring that magical performance experience to other kids, Addison and Cosima launched Twirl into Tomorrow.

We bridge the gap between studios with excess dancewear and families who need support. We collect gently used and new dance costumes, shoes, and apparel from the NYC community, carefully inspect and refresh every single item, and gift them directly to young dancers in need all across the city.

By helping us recycle these beautiful costumes, you can not only reduce waste, but you can also break down financial barriers, foster creativity, and ensure that every child has the chance to twirl into the spotlight and shine..
